It's over.

Concert preparations and late nights will now be a thing of the past.

Thank you, it was fun while it lasted.

Vhapsody 08 was my first, and probably last CO concert ever. What a great way to end this chapter of my life. It was undeniably memorable, although I don't really show any indications of it. VJCODJY, you guys are great. I could not have learnt so much without the help, however tactless, that you all gave me. The exposure to new songs and techniques are very much appreciated as well. You guys also helped to strengthen my interest in percussion, to the extent that I look forward to (almost) all the practices. I now can lose myself in the music easier and is still trying my best to perform without giving a hoot to who might be sniggering at me despite the spastic actions and horrendous playing. In that sense, I have grown as a person to not bother the judgements people might pass on me, cos why do you care? So long as I'm happy, all is well.

I can't say that I performed up to my expectations yesterday, in fact, lag by a lot. Quite upset about my snare drum and timpani roll. Super inconsistent lah. Nervous? Maybe. Or it might just be an excuse. But on a whole, I think percussion did quite well, so yup, like that lor --> :D :D :D

Lao Hu Mo Ya was awesome, KG just anyhow whack when he forgot or something, but the overall effect is quite good! No breakage at all. I could see LX surpressing her laughter throughout ;) And L yes I totally forgive you even though you blocked me for the whole of Tai Wan and when I moved the timpani to my left you just had to move as well so I couldn't see the conductor for the whole song and had to look at KG due to his humongous actions. HAHA.

Anyway I super love Da Gui, Tai Wan Zhui Xiang Qu and Fen Yong Qian Jing.

Oh oh and thanks to the lovely people who came down to watch! Your comments were really encouraging and kind of lifted my spirits higher.

(:

I feel my efforts being appreciated somehow.

In all, many thanks to VJCO, especially VJCODJY, and those who came, for making this an unforgettable experience for me. At least, I won't be stepping down with regrets.

Signing off with love.
