learn to count on blessings

So I haven't exactly gotten my ideal results. But after a few hard days of thinking, I am quietly thankful as I could have received much worse, what with how I spent most of my J2 year. Which is not (hardcore) studying. So it's alright, really. :) Thanks to concerned people who called and talked to me about it at my first sign of despair. But then, it still doesn't mean I am obliged to tell you what I've got. Just that yes, I can definitely enter a local university and no, I am confirm not going to retake. That would be retarded.

Anyway, it certainly has knocked a whole good load of sense into me and I am happy to say that I have found the silver lining of this circumstance. Oh my actually I feel quite excited to go university, regardless of what course. And I really need to be more down-to-earth and stop slacking all my free time off like I always do. >:( Disgusting, really. So unbecoming.

On to happier stuff - yesterday was the wedding between Geoffrey and Lyn! The whole evening ceremony was really sweet really, I felt like I was going to tear any moment. Great job to Elson and Debbie for the emceeing and Doreen for the video. Anyway I just about realized that all my cousins are real stunners, looking extremely suave last night. Except... *cough*

Uploading the better pictures of the pathetic amount I have. Oh my god speaking of photos I absolutely detest it when people like to take pictures of you in a generally unflattering angle - i.e from the bottom or some weird angle. Like hello, are you trying to make me look fugly/fat so that I will not ask you to take pictures for me ever again or what. Cos you can just speak up, you know. So anyway, I end up with a look a bullfrog would be proud of. Digress digress.

And here are some random pictures taken during midnight baking with Andrea Chew Chew Chew for Vday!

Ok that's it byebye need to sleep got work tomorrow. D:

place choc in a heatproof glass bowl and position the bowl over a pot that is about half-filled with water. (pot shouldn't be so shallow such that the water comes into contact with the base of the bowl). the water should only be barely simmering - when you see clusters of small air bubbles at the base of the pot, maintain that temperature and heat and don't let it go higher.

reason being if you melt it like you did, the cocoa butter in the chocolate would burn due to the intense and direct heat and the result would taste "burnt". well i assume that was a good bar of chocolate because off-the-shelf stuff use vegetable oil in place of cocoa butter.
